L’eggo my Eggo store brand waffle vs. Recall my Toyota – Which is the bigger FAIL?

It began on August 31st, with from the Georgia Department of Agriculture (GDA) notifying the Kellog company that it’s Atlanta, Georgia plant, “of a positive test for Listeria monocytogenes in your Eggo Buttemilk Waffles identified with a Better If Used Before date beginning with NOV17 10 EAAM1.”   This led to a nationwide recall on Eggo waffles and quickly the shelves of store brand waffles were empty as supply could not ramp up fast enough to meet demand.
