The AFC’s Finest QBs?
Who are the top quarterbacks in the AFC? You might think of Ben Roethlisberger, Tom Brady, Philip Rivers, or Carson Palmer. Many would say it’s Peyton Manning. So why on God’s green Earth is David Garrard playing in the Pro Bowl? Well, Manning gets a pass because he’s got a game next week, unlike these “other” QBs. So why are we watching Matt Schaub, Vince Young, and David Freakin’ Garrard representing the AFC in Hawai’i South Florida. Is it because these “Top Flight Quarterbacks” are all injured, are their egos to big to come out to play after being eliminated, or have they just gone soft? I don’t really care what the reason is, but I think the AFC’s quarterback situation is almost as sad the Bears sending only Johhny Knox to the Pro Bowl. (Lance Briggs passed due to injury and I won’t speculate on this injury here.)
So should the Pro Bowl be moved back to after the Superbowl?
